Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Wings – Vegan, GF, Paleo

Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Wings - Vegan, GF, PaleoI had Buffalo Cauliflower Wings at Sage Vegan Cafe in L.A. and they were soooo good I was craving them for over a month when finally I decided to try and make them at home. These are easy, delicious, and healthy because they’re baked not fried and there’s no oil or butter! Well, okay, there’s 1 tsp, but that’s it!

    Ingredients & Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Whisk to combine in a medium bowl: 1/3 cup flour (I used garbanzo bean flour) + 1 tsp garlic powder + generous pinch of salt + 1 tsp melted vegan butter + 1/3 cup water.
  3. Chop up 1 medium or large head of cauliflower into bite sized pieces and add to the mixture, coat evenly. Spread onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with a silpat or coated with non stick spray and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and coat with 1/2 cup hot sauce of choice. Use a silicone pastry brush for quick and easy coating — be sure to toss around the cauliflower in this step so when you put them back in the oven they’ll bake evenly.
  5. Bake for an additional 20 minutes, until crispy and golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce if desired and enjoy!

Here’s a 15 second video of me making them.
